The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will be holding a Beer Festival on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of October at the Empire, Aldershot.
This is the second year of this event and last year was a great success with an income of over £10,000.
This year’s event will be of a similar format with three sessions:
Friday 7pm – 11pm
Saturday 12pm – 4pm and 7pm – 11pm
They will be serving over 60 local beers and ciders, and there will be food on offer and live music during each session.

In case you need some background, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care are the only provider of hospice care in West Surrey and North East Hants.
They look after 250 patients, families and carers every day either at the hospice in Farnham, the Beacon centre in Guildford or in people’s homes.
It costs around £10 million a year to provide such care, of which, only 20% comes from the NHS meaning they need to raise over £20,000 a day!
