  The Barn Owl which has been closed for 18 months has been brought by Brunning & Price, operators of a number of pubs in the locality including the 2025 GBG and LocAle listed Mill House at North Warnborough, and it is hoped it will be open by Christmas.

  Serial Good Beer Guide entry the Queen's Head, Holybourne, which has been sadly closed for many months, is now the subject of a planning application for conversion to a chidren's nursery.
  As ever the potential developers are saying that the conversion would be no loss given the number of pubs and bars in the vicinity.
