Friendly pub close to Alton Watercress Line and mainline station and personally owned by the owner of Triple fff Brewery. Their beers including seasonals are supplemented by guest ales from often local micros, all clearly displayed with prices on a chalk board. Real cider is mainly from Seacider. The rear bar holding occasional music nights is available for hire. The patio area, designed with a traditional railway theme, incorporates a covered smoking area. There are tables outside at the front under a striking sculpture of a steam locomotive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
