Fullers and associated brand beers and guests are available in this 16th century village inn. Situated opposite Jane Austen's house it has been Chawton's pub since the time of the Spanish Armada. The pub has recently (spring 2024) undergone an internal refurbishment under new licensees which has changed little but enhanced its period charm. There is a large secluded garden with an extensive seating area.
